Theo Evison

Research Interests:

Theo is interested in the role that civil society and institutions play in shaping daily life. He is particularly interested in the ways that these entities bend or break the law, and the impact these infractions have on citizens. His most recent research focuses on the way that elite, private universities across the United States have conspired to obstruct critical pathways to upward mobility in university admissions processes.

Bio

Theo is a sophomore from Bronxville, New York studying Government and History, with a sequence in Legal Studies. Outside of class, Theo is an analyst for Claremont Consulting Group, a member of the Claremont Pre-Law Society, and provides academic tutoring to local high-school students. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends, and playing golf. At home, Theo has two older siblings, and a Labradoodle named Lulu. After his freshman summer, Theo worked as a paralegal intern at a boutique civil litigation firm in New York City. After graduation, Theo plans to attend law school.
